Charlie's Story: Why Pawdorable Supports the Wilms Cancer Foundation

A child with a dog in warm golden light, representing Pawdorable's support for the Wilms Cancer Foundation

Those of you that are close to us will know that my lovely son Charlie was born with a condition that means he is more susceptible to Wilm's Tumour. Luckily, genetically he is less likely to get it so at 3 year's old we didn't have to continue getting him screened.

However, not all children are as lucky as Charlie. Wilms tumour, also known as nephroblastoma, is a rare kidney cancer primarily affecting children, especially those aged 3-4. It's the most common kidney cancer in children.

The Wilms Cancer Foundation (WCF), is a charitable organization, that supports and represents the needs of children, families and healthcare organizations affected by the childhood kidney cancer nephroblastoma commonly known as 'Wilms'. We are supporting this charity with 10% of our sales from the items below, going directly to this charity. Childhood Kidney Cancer | Wilms Foundation
